Description

The Fanvil i63 Video Door Phone is a professional SIP-based video intercom and access control solution designed for apartments, office buildings, gated communities, industrial parks, schools, hotels, and commercial facilities. Combining HD video communication, intelligent access management, and robust outdoor protection, the i63 delivers a secure and modern entrance communication system suitable for both residential and enterprise deployments.

The device features a premium aluminum alloy body with five programmable speed-dial buttons that allow visitors to quickly contact different apartments, departments, or security personnel. Its elegant industrial design combines durability with a modern appearance, while the illuminated keypad ensures clear visibility in low-light environments. Built with IP66 weatherproof and IK07 vandal-resistant protection, the i63 is engineered to operate reliably in harsh outdoor conditions including rain, dust, humidity, and physical impact. It also supports a wide operating temperature range from -40°C to 70°C, making it ideal for demanding outdoor installations.

For video communication and surveillance, the i63 is equipped with a built-in 2-megapixel wide-angle HD camera offering up to 120° horizontal viewing angle with infrared night vision support. This allows users to clearly identify visitors during both daytime and nighttime operation. The device supports H.264 video encoding and ONVIF compatibility, enabling seamless integration with third-party IP surveillance systems, NVRs, and building security platforms.

The i63 supports two-way HD audio and video communication through SIP protocol compatibility with IP phones, indoor monitors, PBX systems, and mobile communication platforms. Its built-in 2.5W speaker, Acoustic Echo Cancellation (AEC), and wideband codecs such as G.722 and Opus help provide clear voice quality even in noisy outdoor environments. The device supports two SIP lines and advanced intercom functions including multicast, speed dial, anonymous calls, and remote communication management.

A major strength of the i63 is its flexible access control functionality. Users can unlock doors through multiple authentication methods including RFID/IC cards, NFC, password entry, indoor switches, remote DTMF commands, and scheduled timed door opening. The device supports up to 10,000 RFID cards and can store up to 200,000 door access records, making it suitable for medium-to-large deployments requiring centralized access management.

The i63 also includes rich hardware integration capabilities with multiple short-in and short-out control ports, Wiegand support, RS485 connectivity, relay outputs, and TF card storage support up to 128GB for image storage and event recording. These interfaces allow seamless integration with electric door locks, induction loop systems, alarm systems, building automation platforms, and other security devices for customized deployment scenarios.

Installation is simplified through PoE (802.3af) support and standard SIP networking compatibility. The i63 is widely used with SIP PBX systems such as 3CX and other unified communication platforms, enabling centralized communication and access control management across business and residential environments.

Community discussions around Fanvil door phones often highlight the i63’s flexible SIP integration, multiple call-button design, and versatile access control options. Some users appreciate its ability to integrate with third-party PBX systems and trigger external relay devices, while others recommend firmware optimization for the best RTSP streaming and ONVIF video performance in advanced surveillance deployments.
